Greens agenda harmful to blacks.
Question:
This is pure Al-Sharpton demagoguery; I wonder what sort of money is flowing to these "black spokespeople". This seems like an effort to look for wedge issues, a Republican specialty. It’s good that Clinton gave them a taste of their own medicine with attacks on the tobacco industry. Also, putting environment against economic growth is pure demagoguery. There is nothing that says that economic growth cannot take environment-friendly forms, except in the imaginations of those who wish to get away with environmental irresponsibility. And it’s a sight to see — right-wingers bragging about what n*gg*rlovers they are. To use a term their predecessors had used in the past on any white people who sympathized with black people. — Loren Petrich Happiness is a fast Macintosh My home page: http://www.petrich.com/home.html

Wait a minute, Loren, I’m confused. Weren’t Eisenhower and Lincoln Republicans? Weren’t George Wallace and Orville Faubus Democrats? BD

The Republican Party has changed from being the party of Abe Lincoln to the party of Jefferson Davis. During the civil-rights movement, there was a *big* split between the Southern Democrats (George Wallace and Orval Faubus, for example), and the rest of the Democratic Party. And it is the Southern Democrats who have been becoming Republicans in droves. — Loren Petrich Happiness is a fast Macintosh My home page: http://www.petrich.com/home.html

Good one Loren. Right and left wing conservatives are synonymous with racism and pollution. These devils will twist the facts at the expense of truth and justice, with one objective in their squirming, toad-like minds–to dominate us.
Response:
Black Americans, traditionally a core Democratic constituency, seem to have stayed off the warming bandwagon. AS THE CLINTON administration
