TRYING TO CONTROL ASTHMA

Question:

I am asthmatic and quite ashamed to be.  I see it as a weakness to the point that I will not be seen with my medication by those who even know me to be asthmatic.

I think your problem is more psychological than physical.  Not that you don’t have asthma, but you have a definite problem DEALING with it.  My son is asthmatic, I am diabetic, and neither of us is hesitant to reveal it to others.  WHAT is there to be ashamed of?  It is a physical ailment that should have no bearing on your self esteem at all. You need to see a counselor before you allow your hangup to kill you.  Good luck.

Si I hear about the Butekyo technique and I see it being slated in the Si alt.support.asthma forum.  I have tried homeopathy and it only made me Si feel worse.  I tried accupuncture and it had no effect.  I don’t want Si any further drug therapies.     Just a thought.  Have you tried taking MSM capsules along with     vit. C? .. End  of  message ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 [NR]

Sounds like one key point to your recovery would be a slight realignment of your head.  Asthma is not "a weakness," unless you consider any medical condition to be "a weakness."  I’m not going to sit here and claim it’s a virtue either, of course.  A condition just *is*.  It doesn’t have any sort of moral stigma attached to it, unless maybe you did something incredibly stupid to cause it.  Do you think diabetics should be ashamed to use insulin? Now, if you can find some other way to solve your problems, great, but to in effect abuse yourself because of a condition you can’t help is foolish, even masochistic.   — David Wright :: wright at ibnets.com :: Not a Spokesman for Anyone      These are my opinions only, but they’re almost always correct.      "The daily floggings will continue until morale improves."

The Revici Method is often effective in permanently reversing asthma. They use nontoxic lipid medications.  It is only available in Manhattan, however.  If that works for you, let me know and I’ll send you their address and phone number.      - Kelley William Kelley Eidem, author "The Doctor Who Cures Cancer"  To order, call 1-800-717-2669 (1-800-717-BOOX)
