Pulmicort has been used in Canada for at least the last 7-8 yrs. What info do you have to back up your claims regarding danger to children? My kids have been on the Pulmicort during allergy season (April-October)for the last 3 yrs and it’s worked wonders in keeping their asthma under control. They rarely require any Ventolin while on this med. Gee,   I thought that the FDA had noted that this was the most widely studied asthma corticosteriod in the world?  Also, it appears that the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) has made some very positive statements in it’s latest asthma review. Maybe this is the medicine my kids have been waiting for?  Hope so.. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – A new anti-asthma inhaled steroid from ASTRA as been poorly tested and may be dangerous to children.  The FDA is apparantly considering reevaluating the medication.
