I think you may have missed some of the early Conversations with Sheldon. In any event, it wasn’t the word "wate" to which I referred; that’s simply a typo. Picking nits is a beneficial activity, isn’t it, though nitpicking is not. I thought you just said that "it’s dormancy awaiting whatever stimulous or combination thereof is necessary to provoke it’s emergence"? was "Total gibberish," including the misuse of "it’s." Tread softly, Sheldon. Remember "<Uit’s</U dormancy awaiting whatever stimulous or combination thereof is necessary to provoke <Uit’s</U emergence"? Larry Total gibberish, including your incorrect "it’s"… it’s = it is. Sheldon

My sons nebulizer keeps getting condensation in the air tubing.
I don’t remember the brand of mine off the top of my head (luckily I don’t have to use it much!) but the directions that were included said to run the compressor w/o the nebulizer cup, just the tubing attached, for ten minutes if condensation happened. It dries the tube out quickly, so bacteria don’t grow. zg
Response:
Is there a lot of humidity in the nebulizer room? No air conditioning? No de-humidifier? That could be the answer. And you surely need low humidity for the asthmatic.
Response:
I wash my nebulizer parts in the dishwasher and its just fine.
– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – My sons nebulizer keeps getting condensation in the air tubing. I have changed the tubing 3 times, the filter and also switched to a newer style collection cup. I called 2 companies that repair nebulizers the first said it may be from using the older style collection cup, so I changed it to one that you hook the tubing into the bottom of the cup. The second place told me to wash the tubing. I though you weren’t supposed to wash the tubing because of bacteria growth???? Does any one know what is going on with my nebulizer? Thanks in advance.

i have the same problem with my nebulizer. have had this problem since the unit was new. its a devilbiss pulmo-mate. I use many different types of med cups due to my supplier keeps changing companys, and that never seems to make a difference, i do notice on hot days that it seems to get more moisure in the tube. i asked my doctor about it and she said that it was normal for that to happen sometimes. i don’t know, i guess it really dosent hurt anything.
